Wishing for Spring...

On the drive to school today Campbell said she was ready for spring.  I think I am, too.  Mom said she could take 2 more weeks of winter and then she will be ready for spring.  So in order to try to entice spring and take the chill off a bit, I dug up a pic from the end of the summer:

We had 11-inches of snow on Saturday and it snowed ALL DAY.   It was really even snowing too much to go out and play.  Well the snow turned to rain and by the next day is was kind of melted, but still fun enough to trek and roll around.  No snowmen, but lots of snow angels!  Then we came in for hot chocolate and a movie w/ popcorn.  We love snow days but we're ready for warmth and color and "baby animals being born," says Campbell!
